Product Description 

Calvados Berneroy XO is the signature blend in the range, aged for around 10 years in small French oak barrels. Berneroy uses only top-quality cider apples from the finest independent orchards in Normandy. It is aged exclusively in old wood to preserve its genuine aromatic intensity and to avoid an over-oaked taste. 

Highlights

• The first step is to produce cider which is distilled using a continuous column still to concentrate and enhance its lively apply character.
• Calvados is the basis of the tradition 'the Norman hole' which is a small drink of Calvados taken between courses in a very long meal, supposed to re-awaken the appetite. 
• 70cl bottle size. 
• 40% ABV. 

Serving Instructions

Traditionally enjoyed as an after-dinner drink.

Tasting Notes

Nose: Vanilla and butterscotch notes with a hint of citrus, apple and orange.

Palate: Baked and caramelised apples with buttery, slightly nutty notes and a touch of cinnamon and spice.

Finish: Smooth, round and lingering.
