Built in 1846, Caol Ila (Pronounced 'Cull-Eela',)is situated on the North-Eastern shores of Islay with magnificent views across the Sound of Islay to the spectacular Paps of Jura. This 12 year old is perfect for those looking to dip their toe into Islay whisky.

Tasting Notes

Nose: Intense and rich, with malted barley and gentle floral touches with a faint wisp of smoky notes.

Palate: Bright initial flavours of toffee, vanilla and pome fruits, followed with light smoke with some ashy touches.

Finish: Complex and long, with sweetness fading to leave dark and smoky flavours.
