The Balvenie is a distillery with a rich history of experimentation with sherry-cask maturation. Here, they’ve used a Pedro Ximénez sherry butts to finish off an eighteen-year-old whisky. It’s the second sherry-finished expression in this range.

Tasting Notes
Nose: A medley of flavours from raison and bursting currants, intertwine oak and subtle clove, concealing smooth sweet lavender.
Palate: A modern classic fruit fusion of tart grape skin, mandarin and fig flow together with vibrant oak to coat the mouth with a delicate oil and honeyed sweetness.
Finish: Almonds, long strong finish- unmistakable.
