Product Description

Scotland’s Favourite Whisky for over 40 years First produced in 1860 (when it was just 'The Grouse'), The Famous Grouse has been the No. 1 whisky in Scotland since 1980. To mark their 15th year of partnership with the RSPB, they commissioned artist Nuria Boj to create something truly special.

The inspiration behind this limited-edition bottle comes from Philippa Gloag, the daughter of their founder and the woman behind the wings. It was Philippa who drew the very first, and now famous, grouse that adorns every bottle.

The design for the sleeve was created by Nuria Boj, an established illustrator and animator based in Edinburgh. Nuria uses a high level of detail to create visual stories. In this case, the story of how their Famous Grouse came to be.

This extraordinary collaboration marks their 15th year of working with the RSPB, a partnership that has helped to plant 150,000 trees, improve 85,000 acres of land and, most importantly, create new homes for the birds that made them famous. It’s a conservation story worth celebrating and one that wouldn’t exist without the woman behind the wings.
