A superb example of 1960s Glen Grant from the Gordon & MacPhail warehouses. This rich old Speyside malt was aged in a single refill sherry butt, which has allowed the spirit to develop elegantly over the decades. Fruity aromas of citrus peel, russet apple and cherries radiate from the glass, giving way to a warming palate of plums, baking spices, dried fruit, and stewed plums. An excellent addition to the Gordon & MacPhail Private Collection.

Tasting Notes

Nose: Toffee, caramel, and dried fruits.

Palate: Sweet sherry, orange, and baked apples.

Finish: Robust with a soft lingering aftertaste.
