Distilled from single estate barley for a spirit of sweet creaminess, then aged in American Oak Bourbon casks for depth. This pioneering Cadboll Estate 15 year whisky is distilled from single-estate barley grown only on Glenmorangie’s Cadboll Estate, whose fields surround the Distillery, to create a spirit of unique creaminess.

• On the lands of the Glenmorangie Estate surrounding our Highland home, grows our prized Cadboll barley. This 15 years old small batch release is a deliciously unique whisky - only the second batch of our single estate single malt created at Glenmorangie, from field to glass.
• Glenmorangie is a coastal distillery, which means the local land where our Cadboll barley is grown is protected from hard inland frosts and extremes of weather, almost in its own microclimate. In these conditions, every harvest is unique and brings subtle flavour differences to each batch of The Cadboll Estate.

Serving Instructions

Enjoy neat, with a little water or 2-3 large rocks of ice.

Tasting Notes

Nose: A full and fruity nose with orange and honeyed apricots. Creamy vanilla candy, toasted almonds and a hint of coconut and sugared almonds. With a few drops of water more floral notes of orange blossom, jasmine and heather come to the fore.

Palate: A rich, smooth silky texture is followed by a burst of sweet fruity flavours - poached pear in syrup, apricot and zesty lemon. Ginger & cinnamon spices sizzle and are tempered with a cooling menthol freshness.

Finish: There is a long lingering finish, with layers of orange oil, toasty oak and eucalyptus.
