Gran Patron Platinum is an ultra-premium luxury tequila that is triple distilled and oak rested – extremely smooth with full-bodied flavours and fresh light citrus and fruity notes. This Patron tequila is made from only the finest and sweetest 100% Weber Blue Agave – it’s a handcrafted spirit that comes presented in a hand-numbered crystal bottle with an elegant case.

• Tequila Patrón’s Gran Patrón Platinum is the Grand Cru, First Growth, maybe even royalty of Tequila. Pull the cork for elegant celebrations and discover sake aromas, roasted agave, orange, lemon, lime, vanilla, white peppercorn and fresh herbs.
• Crafted from the finest agave, handpicked for its high sugar content, the spirit is triple distilled to create the smoothest of the smooth. It’s rested for 30 days in oak tanks creating a Tequila of almost unrivalled elegance, which screams out to be sipped neat or mixed into a Mexican Martini. 
• The team at Hacienda Patrón say: “We didn’t invent Tequila, we just perfected it.” And when you taste their spirit, it’s obvious that they really have. Each bottle takes thirty people to hand craft it.
• The process starts in the Jalisco highlands, where the Weber Blue Agave takes eight or more years to ripen. These huge plants are then harvested and chopped manually.
• The enormous hearts, or piña, are baked in brick ovens for at least three days, before being crushed with an almost two tonne volcanic stone Tahona wheel. The juice is then fermented for 72 hours, then distilled in handmade copper stills by David Rodgriquez, who took over when the legendary Francisco Alcaraz retired. The Tequila is finally filled into artisan bottles and topped with a bulbous cork created in Lisbon. Each painstakingly perfect step is carried out by hand.
• Tequila Patrón also recycle their water, compost their leftover agave, invest in sustainable agave, plant trees, educate their workers, support their community food bank and work with two orphanages.
