The Luxardo family have been making their world-famous liqueurs since 1821. The world-famous sambuca, Luxardo is the biggest name in sambuca, the Italian liqueur delivers waves of aniseed flavours that make it the perfect shot and party starter. Luxardo is a flavour sensation that is mouth-wateringly delicious and sure to make any occasion go off with a bang. As an antique tradition would have it, a tradition that to this day embraces all the countries of the Mediterranean basin, Italy too has its anise based national liqueur: Sambuca. It is a sweet and strong liqueur, containing essential oils obtained by steam distilling the seeds of star anise, which are soluble in pure alcohol.

Serving Instructions

Luxardo Sambuca is best served neat, or pour on the rocks and mixed with water for an effervescent experience.

Tasting Notes

Nose: Aromas of coriander, liquorice and anise.

Palate: Syrup like taste, very sweet with clean aniseed and liquorice.

Finish: Lingering taste of aniseed and bitter.
