The origins of Old J date back to 1740, when an admiral decided to enforce a reduction in the British Navy's much-loved rum ration. Old J Tiki Fire redresses this historic reduction by increasing the strength to 151 proof, but keeps the spices, lime and sugar that make Old J what it is.

Serving Instructions

Perfect served over ice with coke or ginger beer and a couple of fresh lime wedges.

Tasting Notes

Nose: Cracked black pepper spirity spice, vanilla pods, lime cordial and butterscotch with toffee, almonds, pistachio, cinnamon and nutmeg.

Palate: Aggressive spirit, hot chilli and cinnamon spice with vanilla and lemon zest. Addition of water reveals buttery toffee popcorn.

Finish: Beyond the fire lies a balanced lightly sweetened spiced rum.
