Slane Irish Whiskey brings grain and malt whiskeys together through the distinctive flavours of three casks. A combination of virgin-oak, refill-American-whiskey and oloroso-sherry casks results in an elegant and spicy dram.

Tasting Notes

Nose: Butterscotch, honied fruit, cinnamon, oily nuts and a light bit of sherry, taffy and hay.

Palate: Nice slow roll of butterscotch, honey, fruity taffy, nuts and a bit of sherry, cocoa, malt and grain.

Finish: Medium fade of sherry, grain, fruit and cinnamon. Subtle sherry which pops on the fade.
