Tamnavulin Port Cask

The makers at Tamnavulin have now also released a Port Cask Edition. This fantastic whisky brings the rich, sumptuous flavours of tawny port to our signature Speyside single malt whisky. Like all Tamnavulin, this whisky starts life in American ex-bourbon casks and is finished in port casks. Expect the addition of dark chocolate and berry compote to our classic sweet, smooth and fruity house style.

Tasting Notes

Nose: Ripe red berries, plums, dark chocolate, rose syrup, sweet biscuit and spiced orange.

Palate: Honeyed poached pears, berry compote, dried fruits and creamy caramel, followed by a nutty finish.

Finish: Rich, fruity, balanced.
