Tears of Llorona is made from 100% pure Weber Agave Azul grown in the volcanic slopes of the Mexican highlands. 

Highlights 

• The liquid is aged for five years in oak barrels: Old Malt Whisky Cask, Old Oloroso Sherry Oak Cask and Old Spanish Brandy Cask.
• This unique triple barreling and extra-long ageing creates a complex, layered fusion that is more like a cognac or a very old whiskey, yet it retains clear agave notes.
• The result is a complex, multi-layered tequila.
• 70cl bottle size. 
• 43% ABV.

Serving Instructions

Borrowing techniques from the world of fine cognacs and armagnacs, Tears is a complex sipping spirit best enjoyed neat at room temperature. As you sip your way through a snifter, the flavours evolve to give you a layered tasting experience.

Tasting Notes

Nose: Caramel custard, dried fruit, and dark chocolate.

Palate: Agave with a heady spiciness and complexity for experienced palates.

Finish: Described best as "a warm scarf on a cold day."
